Terry Thirion
In 2021, Terry opened Gallery339 Hot Springs. The first fine art gallery in the town of Hot Springs, in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Terry is the driving force behind the Hot Springs Arts Trail. You will find her studio on the hill located across the street from the elementary school on HWY 25/70. Her studio features Terry’s paintings and prints, as well as fabric, ceramic, wood and mixed media of other artists in the area.

Sarah Jones Decker
The Artisun in Hot Springs NC will feature the works of Sarah Jones Decker. Sarah Jones Decker is a visual storyteller based in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. She is an award-winning photographer, published author, farmer, mama and occasional tintype alchemist in Marshall High Studios.

Bryan Khan
Bryan Khan owner of Crescent Moon Printing will be at Tobacco Road. Bryan will have shirts to buy and demonstrations on the fine art of screen printing.
Iron Horse Station · Hot Springs
Jane Sleeper
Iron Horse Station in Hot Springs will feature Jane Sleeper. She grew up in New Jersey and spent summers in Maine in her family’s home on the coast. She followed her B.F.A with a Masters in Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute in New York City. Jane now finds herself in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina with her dog Scout, back in the studio with a renewed focus on painting.

Cindy Cash
Big Pillow Brewey in Hot Springs will have Sketch Artist, Cindy Cash. Cindy was part of the Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point advertising scene for many years. She also spent weekends sketching dogs at Kennel Club shows in North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina and Ohio ... one of them being at Westminster in NYC.
Spring Creek Community Center
Reilly Morse
Spring Creek Community Center featuring Reilly Morse. A lifelong Mississippi lawyer who opened a studio in Western North Carolina in 2022 to pursue is real passion, painting. Morse began painting in 1972 at the studio of Dalton Shourds King. He then pursued the plein air approach of impressionist painters, and spent 1977-78 in Aix-en-Provence where he studied with Maggie Siner and professors at the Université d’Aix-Marseilles.
Spring Creek Community Center
River Rathborne
At the Community Center in Spring Creek will be 10 Year old River Rathborne. River lives in Spring Creek, NC with her family who has been a part of this community for nine generations. She loves creating paintings of all animals, including insects, nature.

Martha Skinner
Martha Skinner is an international multi-media and interdisciplinary artist with a Masters in Architecture and Urban Culture. Her career as an artist, researcher, professor and visionary spans 30 years. Martha’s work has been recognized by various awards and internationally-recognized publications and exhibitions.

Natalie Richardson Artero
Natalie Richardson Artero Natalie Richardson is a Bolivian-American artist residing in Greeneville TN. She lives close to the Pisgah and Cherokee national forests which she visits weekly. You will also find her watercolors in Hot Springs, NC.
On Saturday, September 26, the Hot Springs Arts Trail runs from downtown Hot Springs out Highway 209 to Spring Creek and Trust, North Carolina. Fourteen stops, one day, roughly ten and a half miles between the first town and the second.
The artists are the reason to make the drive. Terry Thirion opened Gallery339, the first fine art gallery in Hot Springs, and leads kids' abstract painting in the afternoon. Bryan Khan of Crescent Moon Printing demonstrates screen printing at Tobacco Road Burley & Brew. Cindy Cash, who spent years sketching dogs at Kennel Club shows, draws pet portraits at Big Pillow Brewing. Sarah Jones Decker shows photography and tintypes at The Artisun, Jane Sleeper paints at Iron Horse Station, and at the Spring Creek Community Center you'll find Reilly Morse's landscapes alongside work by ten-year-old River Rathborne, whose family has been in Spring Creek for nine generations.
Music runs all day and into the evening: piano at Gallery339 at eleven, the Bear Creek String Bandits in Spring Creek at one, the Hill Country Band at Trust General Store, and the Tall Boys at Big Pillow until nine.
